    I found this article and thought Some might enjoy it... (Seems the illness has been around for sometime).

    That's a touching story. Thanks Tinkerer.

    That's the first I've heard of the Guv'mnt commandeering private individuals' personal possessions for the war effort. Of course there were lots of instances where industrial activities were directed as needed to fill war requirements.

    I can see where that might leave a bad taste in your mouth.

    I wish I grew up where I could watch that guy work. I could have learned a lot earlier in life and probably stayed out of some trouble.
