Steam engines for a paddle wheeler

They're pretty hungry fuel hogs, but they do work well.

I have a friend here in Deland that has two double acting engines with the boiler. He took them out of the paddle wheeler he bought. He is too old to fuss with them he says. They are to be replaced with hydraulic motors driven from a diesel pump/genset. He isn't sure what to do with them as they are custom made. Both of them are in running condition. I didn't have my camera to take pics(sorry). Not sure of the horsepower but the boat is 45ft. in length and weighs approximately 4tons.
