    Post Pratt and Whitney

Anyone know a good place to find info. on Pratt and Whitney machines?
I have a lathe that I would like to possibly put back to use; but I can't seem to find another like it. It's a lineshaft machine, flat belt, plain bearing headstock.
The geartrain is open, no guards on anything. It's about a 14x40, 3 jaw independent chuck with a taper lock spindle.
I haven't found a serial or model number yet, just looking for general info now.
    Thanks,

    Kevin

Post a question on the practical machinist board's antique machinery section. There are a couple of P&W guru's there.

    Thanks for the replies.
I tried the lathes.co.uk site, nothing about this type of lathe there.
I haven't gotten around to posting on PM yet.
This lathe has been sitting unused for as many years as I can remember.
I was just considering digging it out and putting it back to work instead of buying another lathe.
