    Any idea where to get makers stand for this lathe?

    I doubt there ever was one, unless you're talking about the underneath motor drive version. The bench version (with separate countershaft in back) I'm pretty sure never came with a stand. SB's book "How To Run A Lathe" describes how to build a suitable bench.

    There is a 9" south bend lathe with stand for sale on ebay. May not be correct stand for this particular lathe but is what I'm looking for.

    Assume you are referring to the type of stand on item # 1757829625. A used machinery dealer might turn one up or just watch your local ads. If you are really in love with that type of leg, look at www.leevalley.com as they reproduce a similar type today..... but the rest, you're on your own.
