Finger Treadle?
Hello- Does anybody have a copy of PIM, June 1991 that can look up the diameter, thickness, & material of the flywheels for the finger treadle for me?
Thank you,
Joe in NH

Joe: I finally found it. The flywheels were made of brass and had a OD of 2.375". The flywheel rim width is .375", the hub is .50" wide. I believe I knew the fellow who originally made this when I lived in Idaho Falls, he sparked my interest in making model engines. Any more questions, just ask, I will leave my magazine out for a few days. I loosly copied the design and have had fun watching friends show how coordinated they are. Hook it up to a small DC motor as a tachometer (or any other load) and it makes it even more difficult to keep it running as fast as you can.
Good Luck---Don
