    Default Some days...

Firstly - wow i finally found the forum and boy, what a change!

Secondly - ugh! I just finished replacing the trans pan on my truck, tightened everything up, drove it around a bit and pulled it back in to find that it is leaking, still. This time it appears to be around the rear seal and dipstick. Then i went to check the fluid level after allowing the torque converter to fill up and the dipstick broke off in the tube. Not even a big peice where i could pull it out with a pair of needle-nose. Just the very tip busted off and it beats me how - i put it in the same way it comes out and i always am looking at that portion of the dipstick so i would've noticed a crack or fatigue marks. Now i have to take the pan back off, waste almost two gallons of fluid, probably put on a new gasket plus buy the new dipstick...

some days just dont go that well

Don't tell anybody, but I have a sort of theory 'bout that sort of thing. It's sort of a constant energy, yin-yang, polarity karma thing.

Like you know when folks up North see the Northern Lights... did you know that at the same time the same effect is displaying itself on the opposite side of the world? Yeah.

So dig, man-- it's the same with happy vibes and sad vibes too. If someone in the USA is really sad, then someone on the other side of the world must be really happy.

And dig even more, if you're having a ****ty day and your car is busted, it's okay 'cause there is a guy in like Zanzibar who is having a great day and his truck runs just fine, thank you for asking. Great mileage too.

    Now you know.

try running a new 2 inch shell endmill in reverse and wondering about the not
    so stellar cutting action.....

then I try to get the gap out of the big lathe, some one had bust off a socket screw in a previous attempt to remove it, so now i have to take off the chuck, and rig up something to pull or push the gap up off the busted screw.......

    Welcome back, Fasttrack!

It is when those days add up to years that really get me worn down.

I agree with Dr. Rob, The cosmic balance must be maintained. Every time I put money in a vending machine and nothing comes out, I think somewhere in the world somebody just got something free. I just have to figure out the "socks in the wash" thing, then it is a Noble prize for me.
Today I will gladly share my experience and advice, for there no sweeter words than "I told you so."
