For all I know, Alistair Hosie, if you is a Laird, and your wife lets you out in shop in a green robe, and will bring you tea, then I not going to say you can't be one. Being an USA citizen, of eastern European family lineage I don't think I will ever fully understand you island dwellers. There are a few transplants round here, but I don't who are the "normal" ones, those that stayed over there or those that came to the states.
