Pretty sure that one is an edit job, but there is an actual machine that it makes me think of called a 'spider excavator'. It's used for steep slopes and often along mountain creek beds and the like.
I thought I had some pics saved, but I can't find them right now. Here's a link to a company that uses them.

I am 99.999% positive that that is a 3d rendering superimposed into the photo. Notice the overcast day, and total lack of any shadows on any of the background objects compared to the shadows of the machine.
Other than that. it's really cool.
Each of the two left arms and buckets have the same mud pattern. I would think that would be indicative of them being the same arm and bucket. If they were different buckets and arms they would not have the same patterns.
