Default Portland, Oregon Model engineering show?

I went to a model engineering show a couple years ago in Portland, Or and I would sure like to go again and take my son he is finally out of the Navy and home. My son just completed his 6 years in the Navy and I know he would like to see one of these shows. I am trying to get him interested in machining and I think a show would be a good start. He has mentioned he would like to build a scale model of his carrier the USS Carl Vinson. I don't know when they have the Portland show last time I found out about it on here and I missed last years show. Anyone have the dates or did I miss it this year? If memory serves me right it was in August.
    Thanks for any info Mike

I found a link for the show on my second attempt at the armory where I went before September 23 & 24 and I am off that weekend I can hardly wait. I am going to take the digi camera this time and will post some pictures!!

Thanks Tin Falcon I think I found it at the same time you were posting. If anybody in the Portland area that is interested in machining has never been to one of these shows you should try and go it is amazing the skill that some have it is very humbling compared to some of my projects.

I am a little ticked about the show being moved to Portland. It was at Eugene with the name of PRIME. I think the name is now Gears.

When prime was in Eugene it was a 3 hr trip and I could attend, now it is a 6 hr trip. Maybe some day I will attend again.
Don\'t ask me to do a dam thing, I\'m retired.

Charlie if you decide to make the trip let me know if you like we could get out and do some fishing on the Columbia good Salmon fishing that time of year and I have the boat.
