Default OT - Transfer program from 1 PC to another.

I have a program (PhotoShop Elements) on a PC that I'm no longer using. It was installed from a CD that came with my Nikon digital camera a couple years ago.

I want to install it on my workshop PC but i can't find the original CD. I have all the documentation including the magic serial number but the disc has gone walkie. I called Adobe and said I wanted to buy a replacement CD but the ^(*^%*'s told me it was "bundled" with the camera and they would not repl. the disc or even sell it to me at a reduced price even though the docs say a replacement for a lost or damaged disc is available. They say I have to buy the whole deal. Pisses me off, to say the least.

I drug the old PC down from the attic, fired it up and it all works fine incl. the desired program. Is there any way to transfer it from that PC to the new one? The old PC is W98 and the newer one is W2000.

    Thanks!

It might be worth contacting Nikon, to see if they will help you out.
