Default Who's Going to Cabin Fever?

Are any of you gentlemen going to Cabin Fever this year? I have a tremendous interest in engines of all kinds and I'm pretty excited that I might get a chance to go. What are the best things to see? The auction or the displays? I'm looking forward to seeing the expo for the first time.

Spence, I personally would give equal representation to everything. The auction, vendors, and the displays. Each one is totally different and interesting in their own way.

The HSM BB group has had a short meeting for the past few years on Saturday, just to meet and put a face with a name. Usually in attendance is Frank, Sid, Luke, Tom, Bill, Stephen, Jim, Neil or Craig from Village Press, myself, and a few others whose names escape me at the moment.

Question now, do we want to do this again in 07? If so, then i will start another thread with a heading of Cabin Fever Meeting. OK guys, what are your thoughts?

I've got my reservations and can't wait. I just hope the weather is as nice as it was last year but you never can tell this time of year. Everything is great to look at. Some good deals can be had at the vendor booths and lots of interesting people to meet. Cecil, I would like to meet with everyone again if the others do. It's a great way to put a face with the names we see on here.

My 80 year old dad, who has a 10" heavy South Bend and a Burke Millrite in his basement looks forward to it all year. We usually get there around 9:30 on Saturday morning.

I recommend a trip around the vendors that have all the assorted type stuff first, since the good stuff goes fast. If it's really good hunting there's a trip or 3 to the car to drop off things that are too heavy to carry around. Then a trip by all the vendors who have regular stock type stuff. Then it's lunch time, after which comes admiring all the projects on display. A last lap for missed bargains, and we leave mid afternoon to get back to the DC area in time for dinner.

    It's a day well spent.

Is there going to be a meet up at a designated time and place? I for one would like to put faces to some of the names.
