    I have the 26th and 16th editions,the 16th is the more vauable in terms of useful information IMO.I gave $9 for it on Ebay and it is mint.

    snagged 23rd + guide book off of Ebay for ten bucks the other day...I don't really see the need for the latest and greatest if you are simply a home machinist...did an Mt2 expand by entropy over a measurable range since 1984?

    I don't need the latest but I do want the Large Print version.

    Thanks everyone. I'll keep an eye out before ordering a new copy.

    Forget Machinery's Handbook...buy Handbook for the Metalworking Industries instead. Same info and then some, and way more up to date...cost less too.
