Have you all heard of the manufacturer Rathbone. I have most of an old lathe with a tag the reads Rathbone 1936. Bendix Aircraft co. I will post pick tonight. Any Ideas wher to start the search.

Just guessing that is a dealers tag and not the makers. gary P. Hansen
Rathbone made chuckers, similar to a Hardinge HC or a Tsugami.

Sorry no pic last night and I go fishing in La Paz Mexico early in the morning so No further info till after then. I know the Manuf. is Rathbone and a seperate tage reads Marquart aircraft co not Bendix. The dealer tag is there too but has too many coats of paint to read but looks like they were out of Ohio.

Thats IT I don't have the bench but the lathe part is complete but is missing the motor and controls.Originally Posted by dneufell
Now what do I do with it? I have been torn between fixing it and using the parts to make other machines. I driveshaft machine is one posible use.
