filer/saw???????????????

Has anyone here used a filer machine as a saw?I understand thet the files can be replaced with hacksaw blades but have never seen it myself in Fact I think Mark Jones tried this or talked of converting his at one stage but I should like to see pictures of this anyone????Alistair
