    Default myford lathe

Hi everyone. As the new boy I hope someone can help.I have recently acquired a myford lathe I think its a ML4. Has anybody got anything on this model either original or copies. How does it differ from later models and is it possible to get a new lead screw.

    I live in hopes

There is undoubtedly information on the various flavors of Myford at www.lathes.co.uk

A new leadscrew might be available from Myford -- I think they are still in business -- but I suspect the price would make you want to sit down.

There is a Yahoo Group specific to Myfords, no doubt someone there would be able to help.
