    Thumbs up For the Beginners

I purcahsed a copy of Machining Fundammentals by John Walker, 1982 edition from Ebay's Half.com. This is really a great book, it explans a lot of things. It's a training text with basic tests on what was in the chapter.

I suggest that the beginners and some of the short time machinists try to get a copy of this book.

I was looking to buy this book, then I realised my shop teacher back in Highschool gave me some book on metal working to keep. As it turned out, it was John Walkers book, 1970 something series.
I agree, there is a lot of good information in it, even covers casting, and form making.
