1.) If you're able to, take a screen shot of the Photobucket page that
triggers the pop-up. This is being triggered by an advertisement, and we need
to know which one. Screen shot instructions are below.

2.) Gather the page source information from the Photobucket page that triggers
the pop-up.

For Firefox web browsers:
Right click on the page and select 'View Page Source' - Copy and paste this
into your response.

For Internet Explorer web browsers:
Right click on the page and select 'View Source' - Copy and paste this into
your response.

Windows:
To take a screenshot of the entire screen, simply click ctrl+prnt scrn on your
PC keyboard. You will not see a visual indication that you have grabbed a screenshot until you paste it into an image editing program. Open up the
image/graphics editing program of your choice, or use Microsoft Paint or Wordpad (comes standard with Windows) and paste the image into a new document.
You can even paste it into a word processing document or download any free piece of software with similar capabilities. You will need to locate and
attach this file to your email when responding to Photobucket.

Mac:
To take a screenshot of the entire screen, simply click Apple+shift+3 on your Mac keyboard. To take a screenshot of a particular region of the screen,
simply click Apple+shift+4 on your Mac keyboard. The screenshot image will now be saved to your Mac's desktop. You will need to locate and attach this file to your email when responding to Photobucket.

It's hard enough to keep a pc running as it is.. crap like this, creative as it might be to sell software, you don't know the intent of the hacker.. has he installed keygrabber onto your computer? has he your credit card, your email, your ebay account now? will he get you charged a few thousand dollars in crap and cost you days of your life trying to fix your credit?

Used to be only porno had this kinda crap. Must've been a java applet, it crashed into the linux box too.

Many of us use the internet for useful things like self inprovement on this forum. However, others see it only as a selling tool and they think that everything should be set up for that purpose. So the biggies like Microsoft and the other companies that write the software are not motivated to make things safe. They cater to the business end of things and come up with all the various programming schemes that allow this kind of thing to happen. And we, the users must pay through the nose for this defective software. I have yet to meet a programmer who is really interested in user protection over "neat features".

And we do pay for it all. We buy the software. And we buy the products that are forced into our faces. You would think we would have better sense.
