FINALLY !!!
After searching Ebay, Craigslist, newspapers, and debating about buying a small Grizzly for nearly 2 years, THIS pops up.
My new, Slightly Used, "MINOR SURFACE RUST" Powermatic.
Awesome.
The guy selling it had an ENCO mill listed on Craigslist.
I called him, and he said he'd already sold it, "But I have another mill if you're interested."
Thank God I checked it out.
$900 with a full set of R8 collets.

Oh yeah, Flatbed tow-trucks are the ONLY way to move machines. It was a breeze.

Congrats Kid...That looks like a fine mill and a good price to boot. Now comes the fun part, tooling her out. You will want a Kurt angle lock (or copy thereof), and a boring head.
I don't see how anyone can get along without a mill and lathe...I couldn't. As for the "girly pix" and ole Billy, hey you'r a machinist, it comes with the territory.

Not bad at all.

In all honesty, the day I brought my lathe home was the happiest day of my life. Till I brought the mill home, then the grinder, then the Van Norman, then, then, then. You caught the bug if you ask me.

Just remember it aint all fun and joy. You'll have to get dirty and pull metal splinters out of your hands. But, it is fun, I promise.
