weight of 36" NIAGARA shear

Just made a deal with a local guy for a 36" NIAGARA sheet metal shear (foot operated).
Ill be picking it up tonite. DOes anyone know the approxiamte weight? I am thinking 800lbs or so, but i really am not sure

That's a good guess. Some are lighter some a little heavier. The 18ga capacity are lightest, the 16ga with hold-down lever on top are around 1000 pounds.

I just offered the guy an extra $25 to bring it to my place and unload it....money well spent!
