LOL! I finally got all this crap sorted out. Had a sore back last night so I sat down and figured it out.
Of course the first pics have to be about my most favourite machine in the shop..my ol' Ohio.
Nothin fancy..just a fabricated/machined angle plate.
Ya just gotta love this ol' thing..6" cut in one pass. Nothing too big here either..only .070 per pass twice just to true it up.
Finish is a bit rougher than I'd like but I've beat the crap out of these inserts on flame cut plates all winter..

Tried to get pics of the spaggeti chips flyin but the shutter is too quick
Milling the last cut..the top is trued up..
A done deal..I just made a clone of a $12 China angle brace...only took 2 1/2 hours of shop time or a bit over $200
