LF Info on Cochrane Vertical Milling Machine
The machine I'm interested in was manufactured in Rochester NY, is very old (maybe made in the late 20's), table size about 28" x 6".
It had a mechanical power drive for the table x-y-z axes.
Milling head had 360 degree swivel and nodding feature.
It didn't have its own power unit, and was driven by a pulley attached to an overhead line shaft (flat pulleys on machine).
I think this would be an ideal mill for a home shop machinist.
I'm interested in generally learning more about this machine.
If you know this machine from personal experience, or if you have any documents or manuals about it, I would appreciate hearing back from you.
