    I agree that if we have caused the current trend then there is absolutely nothing we can do to stop it or even slow it down. If we ceased all use of fossil fuels today the effect would probably take a century or two to be seen. It's like pushing a large vessel away from the dock. It is as hard to stop it moving as it was to start it to move. To reverse the motion you must do more than stop pushing.

    How about Nuclear Winter, eliminate the problem and reverse the effects all in one action. Some might think it's a bit drastic but have you looked around lately it could only be an improvement.
