Is (was) Bridgeport Hardware Manufacturing Corp. (circa 1929) the same "Bridgeport" that made the mills?
It seems BP had their hands into everything. I found a screwdriver in a batch of old tools. Looked up the patent number (1738405) and found it was assigned to BHMC; Bridgeport, Conn. by Bernhard Thal, the inventor.
Nice piece and still very usable. HEY! I can finaly say I own a Bridgeport!
