hi Guys just got a Victor J28 torch and regulator set at a swapmeet, changed the fittings over to suit australian gas cylinders. any recomendations pressure setings (gauges are in PSI) the tip seems to be size 2 these are quite uncomon here in OZ so any info will help

If you're welding, use equal pressure, pretty much. I don't find that written in stone but a good departure point.
If you have the cutting attachment, about 8-10PSI acetylene and 20 PSI oxy will cut 1/4" dead clean with a tip in fettle, no slag. For 1" steel the oxy will only need to be 40-50 PSI, acetylene stays 8-10.
Sorry, no metric conversions, have had the two pints.
What's the orifice on the #2?

You can get a cutting attachment for this????? its tiny

tip size, a 1.1mm drill bit is loose and 1.2mm wont fit so i think its 3/64ths
i only plan on using it for nickel bronze

from what i found on the web making bike frames seems a popular use for these

I'm not sure, but wouldn't be surprised. I have a tiny Harris aircraft torch that cuts.

good safety points. Mind the maxium gas flow per size of cylinders. It
seems that bit of knowledge is not wide spread.
