Default pinging MACONA, miller welder help

    Macona,

I have an older millermatic 130 where the wire quit feeding. We have had the feed motor go out before so I just ordered a new one and it still does not feed. Is there any other common problems on theese units? I see no burnt marks on the circut board and the fuse is good. The only odd thing I notice is when the trigger is pulled the main contactor engauges for about 2 seconds and then shuts off. I cleaned the contacts on the main contactor just to be safe but no luck. The relay that goes to the motor clicks on and off also.
    Thanks for any help.

    Steve

Is it the older 130 with the tapped transformer? If so make sure the range switch is not in between positions.

Tried the range switch in all positions and also tried moving the wire spped to all positions, think the circut board might be bad, I dont have the 24v on the 2 terminals that go to the motor.

Yep, the board is bad. But make sure there is power getting to the board. Inside the panel of the machine is a schematic.
