Default how to measure internal threads?

I know that you use thread wires to accuratly measure external threads. How do you measure internal threads. Accurate enough to make a class 1, 2, 3, or 4 thread?

Never used one but suspect you would use thread gages.

Vermont makes them as do many others.

Yup. If you can't find an ID thread measurement method to suit you in OldTiffies's thread you're not really trying.
