Where can I get

i have a couple of scopes. The problem is the little bungee cords that hold the caps on broke. Where can I get some of these cords. Thanks in advance.

Your local camera store may be able to help. They use these to hold lens covers on camera's

Check out your local hobby or craft store. They sell elastic cord for a number of craft uses.

My wife says both Joanne Fabrics and Hancock Fabrics (lots of both all over CA) carry this cord. In lots of colors no less!

She says that some of the bigger Wal Marts also have it in their Arts and Crafts department, and in the department where they have material for making clothes.

Try your local camping store, they use it for fiberglass tent poles.

If you have a West Marine or a chandler that supplies sailing material they will have something like that. Probably better than typical department store stuff.

Or if you are desperate, buy a cheap jacket at the thrift store which has a bungee waistband and scavenge :-) Re-donate the jacket when done as it may still be of value to the charity.
