I just got an email today from MSC saying that if I type "SELECT35W" in the right spot I get 35% off. It said it was for "Select customers only", so I guess all you hobos can just eat my diamond dust. hehe.

Too bad I don't have any money to buy tools. If I did, I'd buy some food.

This is silly. I must be punchy tonight.

Good news, bad news.

Bad news first ... here in Texas we get tagged with state sales tax of ~8 % depending on locality ... MSC has outlets/offices here so sales tax must be collected.

Good news ... small parcel items get free upgrade to next-day shipping. No, shipping is not free but the upgrade to next-day is.

So all-in-all, a o.k. deal for me.

Now, if I just had to have a small item next-day this would be a great deal, even when you add the sales tax.

I'm a select customer too as they say. I might spend 200 a year with them, if they're lucky. And if they're really lucky, I won't return most of that for being cheap junk.

Don't think you're special (just because of the promo code).

LOL i spend several thousand a year with them and I don't even get a sale ad from them at the shop address. But when my brother had an order sent to my home i now receive all sorts of promo codes and an sales ads there. Just makes me laugh.

Often, on the third day of the 35% off sales, they'll send out a Free Shipping code that stacks with the % off.

They have the 35% off with free shipping twice a month, like clockwork.
