    Default Gerstner box identification

There's a wooden machinist Gerstner type tool box on CL locally. If I go look at it, is there a way to tell if it's an authentic "Gerstner"?

    Thanks,

Check out the Gerstner site. They have a good history.
If you have a look at it it will reveal*its true linage in person. They are very nicely made and I am sure the older one are even nicer than my 4 year old one. ;-)
    Good luck

There is usually a foil label front and center on a lower drawer, and there should be an ink stamp on the inside bottom panel. Pull out the bottom drawer and the front closing panel to see this.
