Had an old rotary table index handle. Thought it would be cool to have a mill vise handle that I could turn faster than the stock one, but also have the ability to get some good pressure on the part as well. Cut aslot in the web of the hadle. Milled two flats on a 3/4" socket. Welded a bolt in the drive end of the socket. Adjust friction to suit. Also, I was very disappointed and frustrated that my G0484 mill did not have a spindle lock; it didn't even come with a wrench or something to hold it. As a result I made this cheesey spindle wrench in a hurry...
