    Default Home Shop Machinist

Does anyone know how to get back issues of Home Shop Machinist magazine? I'm looking for the June/July 2004 issue.

Call Village Press Monday morning. They have all sorts of back issues and can probably hook you up with what you need.

The last time I inquired, tehy referred me to a book of collected articles which included the one I was interested in.

I understood that they were not really in the business of back issues anymore, and instead were pushing their book-form collections of articles.

There is no such issue. There're separate May/June and July/August issues.

A couple of months ago I ordered a back issue by calling Village Press, but I also exchanged email with Kathy Erlewein at kerlewein @ villagepress dot com. (fix as needed). She was very helpful and responded quickly.

    The website says:

For back issues, call 1-800-447-7367 or order online at our store.

That wasn't what they suggested when I called them, but that was several years ago.

I've ordered back issues from Village Press several times over the past 3 years. They have most of the recent (as in, the last 5 years) issues, tapering off to very few of the old black & white issues.

IIRC the price was around $5 an issue, and there's free shipping if you order more than 2.
