Silver Solder Hydraulic Lines?

Doing some mods on my old backhoe attachment for my skid steer loader. It uses 1/2" OD steel tube for hydraulic lines and the pressure is 3,000 psi. Connections that I am making don't need to be re-usable. Could I simply make some couplings from mild steel and silver solder the splices? I got the idea when looking at flairing tools in McMaster's. On that page they had an expensive gadget that expands a bell end on steel tube to make splices. New lines would be 1010 steel.

I don't know about silver solder, but I've brazed lots of hydrolic line with good old fashion brass rod. Pin holes, breaks and even some repairs with slip joints. Works well as long as you can get the line vented.

i've also silver soldered lots of hydr. fittings. in fact some of the 6000 psi ones are s/sol'd.
