Default What's this Hardinge thingy called?

I know that this is a 5C collet indexer, and it has Hardinge D-365 on it. But what is it called, and how much is it worth? I'm buying it, not selling it.

That is a dividing head. A chuck will screw on the threated nose and collets can be used in the tapered bore . If you got all 3 plates and the tail stock . around her a couple of hundred dollars. I hace seen them go for as little a $100.00 to around $500.00.

It's got a 3 jaw chuck, but I don't see a name on it. There are also about 6 different indexing plates, and another 2 that would need the center hole bored out to make them fit.

It is wothless, and in fact many MANY people are killed or horribly maimed by these devices.

I run a disposal service. Send me the device, all the plates and accessories and I will prevent it from injuring or maiming you or your family.

If the insides are in good working order, make sure you paint it up real purty. It'll be your new log/record of how often you use it.

If the chuck and jaws are in good shape, $500 would be about my top dollar for this. They also made them with a taper nose, and I think those are a little more desireable (maybe not). Down in the $350 range, and I think you're doing real good. Any lower, and you'll be required to post a "tool gloat" thread.

    Chuck mount should be 2-3/16"-10.
    Ratio is 4:1.
I think 3phaseLightBulb has a manual for it on his site.

Thanks for all the info. Can anyone tell me what the recessed male 5/16" hex that is on the upper left in the photo is for. It only seems to move about 1/16th of a turn and I don't want to force it into the wrong position.
