Default anyone used Art's Belgian Blue?

Has anyone ever used art's belgian blue? Larry Potterfield makes it look pretty good on the youtube video. I'm working on a small project and need a low cost solution for the blueing.

Its all I've ever used at home. Look up my Ruger MkI thread for pictures of the bluing. You will not get a gloss finish like with hot salts. The finish is a soft satin black. I've done shotguns, pistols, revolvers, rifles.... let me know if you need other pics to help you make up you mind.

Small or thin parts that don't hold heat well are a problem, like sights and shotgun magazine tubes (these will drive you batty). The part needs to be hot for the etchant to work properly, so I've learned to make larger steel heat sinks for small parts to be attached to.
    Ignorance is curable through education.
