    Default Which direction for bandsaw blade

    I purchased a new bandsaw blade for my Carolina Tools HD-10 metal saw, but do not know which direction the blade should face. Pictures speak a thousand words, if possible.

    Thanks

    the vertical side of the tooth does the cutting so the vertical side should face in the direction of cut.

    If it looks like your blade is welded backwards, you can flip it inside out to make it go the other way.

    Code:
    Motion
    ------------------------>

    THE WORK IS HERE

    I had to look at Lee's pic carefully, I always think of the work being at the bottom of the pic. Even called in my kid, who knows a bit of the stuff, we had to think of it..... If using the drawing, the arrow is the workpiece side of the blade, the side marked teeth is the blade itself.

    Err, yes, I made it upside down. Oops. Clarified now.
