Value of FFL for Gunsmithing
This is a great forum.
I read in other thread that if you are interested in going into Gunsmithing, it's a good idea to get your Federal Firearms License.
Is the primary value in having an FFL the education of knowing what modifications you can or shouldn't do to firearms, or is it related to having your work considered as a business, or ?
Also, is the biggest challenge the background paperwork, the initial training, or the work required to maintain it?
thanks for any opinions from folks who have been through it.
take care, GP.
