    Hi,
From what I have read the Jet machinery is a step up from a lot of other brands, and after reading this it sounds like your another happy customer.

I know I have read about a few conversions on the internet.
Google come up with these and plenty of others

the 9x20 is a great machine compared to its mini the 7x10. yes the camlock tail stock holder does hold well if made correctly. i find the biggest issue is that the underside of the bed is rough machined and you have to disengage a long way to make sure you can slide. i also added a couple of springs to the bottom of mine to make sure it released. M2 you can cut with carbide tooling
