I'd say that one is ready to retire.
Depending on the brand & age one may be able to purchase repair parts.
Open it up and put a bushing inside to bring it back to the original size.

I have an old Almond drill chuck, maybe almost a century old, that has sleeves in the key holes - they might even be original. I can't tell for sure but the top of the sleeves may be swaged over. In any event, they protrude outward and appear to prevent disassembly of the gear ring.
Almond made drill chucks before jacobs.
