    Default Free CAD CAM Software

There was an interesting article in the latest "Digital Machinist" Magazine that covered free CAD CAM Software. I downloaded the heekscad discussed and so far find it fairly simple. Anyone else play with this? What do you think? I have been using Bobcad and so far I have gotten to the point that I would rather just type in the Gcode. Bobcad is not working with my way of thinking. But maybe it's just me.

    Default I use it some

I use it on both Windows and Linux. There's a bit of a learning curve. The YouTube video tutorials help quite a bit. I've had luck in getting help off the IRC channel when stuck after upgrading to a new Heeks version. It's nice to have a Linux native version of CAM, and it's rapidly gaining capability.

Could be wrong but I think Heeks may be doing some integration with Dolphin cad cam.
