browsed a lot of them & copied some of the metalworking how-to & toolmaking articles. Don't have any favorite tho.

If you mean a collected works or best of then there is none afaik.
Some of the early issues - 1920's & 30's - had a workshop section that was called "Shop Notes".

There are some nice articles on Atlas shapers and mills that I like. Quite a few articles non-specific to any particular machine on home shop machining including setups and tools projects. They're a fun browse.
