While tooling around the web, I come across This site where a gentleman posted the results of a spectrometer analysis of various metal pieces. Not a lot of samples, but I thought they might be of value to some.

I wonder why the spectrometer is not set up for tungsten not good for scrap sorting if contains W, a bit on the hard side.
