    Hi George,

Just a word of appreciation for the prompt delivery of the March/April issue of Homeshop Machinist (arrived today).

Quite a contrast to my previous experiences with your British competition and their enforced "local" distributors (two failed and one still active).

What a difference when a publication is operated by modellers rather than the corporate sector. Ooops, just realized that ME/MEW was also originated by modellers.

    Thank you, Don Hill.

The point you are missing Don is that we've worked very hard in the UK to degenerate to the level you describe.

    Regards Ian.

Don: It's nice that you get your copy fast....... International, yet.....

Out here in the small towns of flyover land in the US, it is slower. I often get my copy of the mag 2 to 3 weeks after someone mentions it here.

But it just takes a lot longer to get to small villages like St Louis than to other larger places.

We don’t ship alphabetically, but we do know Jerry…

Actually, all the magazines leave here on the same day, headed to a USPS distribution center. What happens to them after that is a guess. Some distribution centers seem to be a little more prompt than others.

It's a shame, because I've been a subscriber for years, and they've had a long line of excellent editors. Until now

Don't take it so personal Robert

Most of the problems Magicalia are having are back office problems not editorial.

Also remember that the current editor, David Clark, is the only one to have a web presence as their site wasn't operational when previous editors were in charge.
I have personally met all the past editors, nice guys for the most part but as regards how these guys would hold up on the present web forum would be interesting.

Mine just arrived in my mailbox yesterday. Kind of interesting that it made it to Canada before it found its way across town.

Sir John is quite right, as in ALL walks of life, the shots are normally fired at the wrong targets.
