Yeah ain't that the truth.
My hope is that I can make reasonable jaunts into eastern PA for toys.

Or the Albany/Syracuse/Binghamton/Fishkill/Buffalo areas. Any industrial city suffering from economic decay should offer up some good old iron.Originally Posted by madwilliamflint
Yeah, good point. I've got an extended family full of lever pullers in the capitol district.Originally Posted by Rosco-P
Wouldn't have through Fishkill though. I'm directly across the river from there. Pops Havana House is in Fishkill. Stark cigar lounge but Pops' roller makes some really delicious sticks. I'm usually there for a few hours on Friday afternoons. (Working from home one day a week has it's benefits.)

I'm across the river in Orange County.
A decent amount of stuff shows up in the Albany area. I've found some nice deals in northern and central NJ as well.
P&T Surplus in Kingston is a source of odd bits of metal, tools, screws, etc. On Abeel St. near the Rondout creek. Craigs list is where I find other stuff. Seems like there's a really good gunsmith in Wallkill, can't remember the name(CRS syndrome). I live near Woodstock, where the hardware store has more nuts than bolts![]()
