Looks to be in good shape. I think a 30 something inch bed. Assuming it is, what would be a fair price? So. Calif area.
Thanks, Rick

Tough to give a value on something with little or no information. I sold my logan 9" to buy a SB with lots of extra bells and whistles. My Logan was a change gear lathe with all of the gears, stand, chip tray. Nice condition for an old machine. sold for $700. Bought the newer SB for $1200 -10" swing, cam loc chuck, 3 jaw,4jaw, collet closer, set of collets, taper attachment. Very nice machine.
I did have seller's remorse when it left, as I really liked that lathe, new it inside and out.

I gave $1,000.00US for my M/W Logan 10 x 22 back in 1993. It is also a standard gear change lathe and it came with everything except a Follower Rest. I think it was money well spent!!
gave 2000 for mine here in ohio, had everything with it. will go to my grave with it.
Had a hard time selling my Logan cabinet base 11", quick change, 5C lever collet setup. In addition it had a bed turret, lever production cross slide, coolant pump.
Started at $1000, finally took $700.
I paid $600 or $650 for a Logan 11 inch on legs. It has the quick change and is a model 920 or 922. Owner was maintenance fellow for a hospital. Obviously used but not beat up. I do not know when it was made.
However, I also paid $600 for a practically unused (unpacked, set on table, oiled and covered for years) Logan 9 inch (Model 400). It was new in the early 50s, if the literature accompanying it is contempory.
........Thanks for the input guys. DR had responded to a previous post and mentioned it might have been a production model as it has a bed turret along with a tailstock. It appears to be a more recent modelas the current owner has a much older looking Logan.
The one for sale is a 3 phase motor, and is on a cabinet stand. It has a toothed drive belt. It has a 6 jaw Buck chuck on it and the owner put in a piece of 1" drill rod and 8" away a .0001" dial indicator's needle was barely flickering (had to rotate the chuck by hand, no 3 phase power).
I don't know a whole lot, but it LOOKS to be in really good honest shape and he said he'd include some other stuff. Oh, it has a collet closer too. He said he'd sell it to me for $1500. Cool, or ........?
Thanks again, Rick
