    Post Projects and Tools 2004...

    Hi Group,

If you have time could you tell the rest of us about the projects that you have completed or will be doing. Maybe you have made some helpful tools or fixtures that make machining easier or outdo the "store bought ones". If possible, include pictures too!

This will give you an opportunity to brag a little and also give the rest of us some good ideas!

    Well how about it.....

    Mike

My small lathe project is coming along quite well. I think that I will have it assembled and tested by the end of January. I have been taking photos along the way. If it works ok I will write it up.

    OK, here's a straight answer:

Just finished the Hula Hula engine (see my post from a couple of weeks back)

    Working on a Harmonograph now.

Next project is Steve Conover's Foliot Clock.
I'll be designing and buildiing a depthing tool for that.

After that, probably one of Elmer Verburg's steam engines, probably the Beam engine.

After that: maybe another of wooden-clockworks.com's wooden clocks.

Then in April, I'll start on...

Unfortunately, I am not working on any cool projects like those beautiful engines.

I am just struggling to get my new shop finished so I can move my new Bridgeport in and play!

The good news is my old 64 square foot shop is expanding to 240 square feet. Room to roam!

The bad news is, I have to build it myself and I am getting tired of hauling construction material in and, worse yet, destruction material out of my basement.

At least I can see whre the vision is leading!

Er, anyone got a life preserver?
