    Default Bubble Machine

Two weeks ago I managed to download a killer virus while searching for information about an Atkinson cycle engine, and it virtually destroyed my main computer. (and yes, I do run an anti-virus program) The computer repair folks told me that since my main computer was 5 years old, it would be more cost effective if I were to buy a new computer. I have to get my computers custom built to run my engineering software, so I had a weeks downtime while a new computer was being built. I have had this project in mind for a couple of years now, and I had the perfect engine for it (Brians Radial Engine). I didn't do a step by step build thread, but if anyone wants to build a bubble machine themselves, the pictures are pretty well self explanatory. my grand daughters love it!!!

And this is a pretty good view of the drive belt arrangement. (drive belt is a neoprene o-ring).

Here is a link to the radial engine by itself, running on you-tube.

    Very cool.
But it needs more of those yellow stalks, look at how much time you're wasting not making bubbles

Yes, I figured that out AFTER I had it all assembled and press fitted/loctited together!!! if I ever build another one, I'll remember that.
