    I have noticed there are some train enthousiasts on this forum.

    Last week the track operator replaced the ballast bed of a track 20km from my house, using a 1.2km long work train. There's a rather impressive video of the train itself here:

    How many times did it breakdown ..looks like it's a breakdown waiting to happen..

    I hope my local freight rail doesn't buy one of these. The track runs by my favorite watering hole and I walk it during smoke breaks. I've got buckets of RR steel that this contraption would steal from me!

    How can they let the tracks get that bad with out being prosecuted .

    The cow catcher damn near bottomed out on the rails. The engines looked like just a few more degrees of tilt and adiós!
