IF a .357 Maximum was re-formed in a die to .222 to make a rimmed case for a SS action, would it "stretch" enough to gain the correct length for the .222 case?
TIA

222 rimmed cases were at one time made for the Aussie and European trade, for drillings and Martini Cadets converted to 222. Huntington's or some speciality shop may have some.
A lot easier than trying to make them!!
You can make it from 5.6x50R Mag cases, which Huntington's has from RWS. Much, much, better quality brass than Bertram!

Sounds as though you have a martini small actioned with a 222 rimmed barrel.
Excellent cartridge from what I have heard. Enjoy, Frank
Sounds like it to me, too. Funny thing, I just finished repairing such a beast for a guy...broken extractor "ear" and an over-large firing pin hole in the block.

I used to own one, but it was stolen from my son's home in Dothan, Alabama several years ago. I'm just having some thoughts along the subject. It had a 10X Unertl scope on it and could keep all its shots in a space the size of a Dime if I did my part. I sure do miss it!!
