Yet another gloat...

I've had this stuff for a short period of time, but after McGyver and John Stevenson's recent gloats I couldn't resist. Thus will take a few posts, but that's what makes it a gloat. I have all of $50 and a few hours time sorting through mountains of boxes in ALL of this. A friend is a liquidator and this was in the trash, we don't have time to go through it pile. The vise, the calipers, and one of the chucks are the only things that were from a secondary "find."

Starrett Divider set and Trammel set.


Wilton S450 vise. I cleaned and painted it, replaced the jaws and handle. Working on new swivel lock nuts as well.


Calipers, some Starrett, some are no name, all from the 1930-40's.


ER16 collet chucks and a Jacobs armature chuck.

0-4" mic set and 0-4" depth mic.


A few taps, there are more but not boxed up SAE and Metric.


Drills, lots of drills. A bunch more not pictured.


Helicoil sets.

Royal, Lyndex, and Crawford 5C collets.


A 12" digital height gage, had to replace the battery to make it work.


A 5C collet fixture and Fowler test indicator stand.


Indicators and holders. The spindle tram is an SPi piece that had a damaged dial lens. Replaced the indicators with Kurt and kept the good SPi unit for other purposes.

A Flynn boring head, 1.5" angle plates (8), 2 sets of parallels, lots of honing stones, and some slitting saws.


End mills, 1/16" to 1"


Some indexable carbide tooling, with inserts. Inserts are Iscar and Hertel.
