    Default My Mig Welding Station

Just added a 3/4" steel top which replaced a much thinner stainless top. The old top used to be a floor drain cover which had drain slots made into it. I wanted the top to be removable. Dont plan on doing any hammering on it. I'm thinking of making some kind of screen as a lightweight spater back stop, not sure yet.
I also finished my articulating arm welding station light. It extends to about 6.5 feet and consists of 4 48" T5 54w HO 6500K bulbs. It's quite bright and best of all there are no cords or light stands to trip over. And they are not hot like hologens. Was a fun project.
    Regards,
    HAP

    Thumbs up

I like the swing arm for the light over the bench, I am going to do something similar for a fume extractor. Nice big clean garage you've got there.

Thats a nice piece of plate..... is that stainless.
Nice fly swatter too. Good place to hang it too. There is too much open space in your shop, I get dizzy looking at it.
